TIME moves on with the incessant flaps of wings and 66 years of Tamulpur H.S. School have already slipped into the pages of history. These valuable years speak the saga of educational endeavour of the school in the whole area of Tamulpur (Erstwhile Baksa) district. Imparting education is a task that God entrusts very few people with. This is a holy task but challenging as well. In order to promote education, one has to have vision, patience, dedication and commitment.
We aim to nurture the
students’ inquisitive mind and encourage them to develop a positive attitude
and independent leaning habits. Several reforms done in the last years have
helped to enhance the educational experiences for our students. To me, students
are the purpose and asset of the school as well as the future of the state and
country. Providing a quality education in a public school is, no doubt very
tough and challenging. But it is my ultimate dream which can be realized only
with the unflinching support and co-operation of the cluster of
teachers-students-parents.
However, getting children
through examination is not all about education. We believe that to-day's learners
are tomorrow's leaders and a preparation for a life of leadership and a sense
of responsibility for one's own action. We also give emphasis to character
building as we consider moral values as important as academic advancement.
I am very much pleased to
inform the parents, students, alumni and well wishers that with a newly
launched dedicated website of the school, you will be able to address the
issues related to academic problems of the students.
With the introduction of the Student Diary for
the first time in our school, which I feel, a two way communication tool
between home and school can be abridged. It enables the student to organize
his/her activities and the parents to keep up regularly with their wards of the
school work. I hope this will add an extra dimension to the learning
experiences
Wish you all a happy
reading to get inspired and motivated to go for an extra mile always.
